Overview
Workplace harassment has a wide range of effects that compromises and undermines individual’s productivity. Harassed employees can develop anxiety, panic attacks and avoiding behaviors that decrease their effectiveness. They can lose motivation and experience a decline in their decision-making ability. Harassment can also result in legal fees and can damage the company’s reputation.
Harassment and discrimination are never acceptable. Employees have a legal, moral, and ethical responsibility to guard against this inappropriate workplace conduct. The impact of harassment and discrimination in the workplace is not confined to the victim. It can affect others around the victim and the entire company, which is why Workplace Harassment training is very important.
It’s important that an organization should make a policy against workplace harassment and convey it to its employees so that they can stand up to inappropriate workplace behavior, including bullying and other behaviors that may violate internal policy, and make it clear that this type of behavior won’t be tolerated.
By taking our Workplace Harassment training, participants will be able to recognize and identify harassment and discrimination in the workplace and recognize its impact on the company and its employees.
